I was listening to talk radio this morning, and I was shocked at how many times the word moron was used to describe people who don’t vote like the person who was talking. Lame.

Plain, cinnamon, powdered or filled? I am done with this election. I have no confidence that my vote will count with respect to the national elections, but I’ll be at the voting booth making sure my local reps are really MY local reps. (Yes, I will be voting in the national election, too. Why waste a trip or a stop at the junior high bake sale?) And when I’ve cast my ballot, I’m unplugging all electronics until the next morning. Who needs the play-by-play?

I’m voting but I’m sick of it as well. All of it.

Really, when elected officials running campaigns are saying things like “Liberals hate real Americans” and other such nonsense I become highly alarmed and want to move to Iceland.

But that’s probably because I, too, am a baby-killing Jesus hater who obviously supports terrorists. Damn. My secret is out.

Think of us poor Canadians….our TV shows are interruputed…like, ALL THE TIME. It’s tragedy on a grand scale. You have NO idea what you are doing to us up here.

I kind of like our election process.

Prime Minister announces election 6 weeks ago, 5 weeks of campaigning…1 debate….and we end up with the same gov’t we started with. Ah, Canada. Land of apathetic heroism.
