Little screws and pieces. So you can at least start. What I did was took two or three nights to put together the train station, the drawers, the mountain, the roundhouse, etc. Then waited until Christmas eve to finish with the actual table. The table its self was about 30 - 45 min. So that wasn't too bad. It's just the other millions of pieces. So I would open it up and start on all of those in your room if nothing else. As long as you can keep the kids out of there. If your door is wide enough you should be able to fit the table out of it too but it's pretty big and might not fit well in your room.
