Alex well, has The Cellulitis again. I’d make a joke like, “You should SEE the other guy!!” But I’m just not laughing right now.

  1. Poor guy! Sorry you didn’t have a better time. I’m thinking of going home early myself, not because I’m not getting a lot out of it, but because I just miss my boys. So great meeting you!!

  2. oh my gosh, poor little man 🙁

I saw your tweets about BlogHer & was hoping you were joking (I don’t know you very well!) I’m really bummed out to hear that you had a shitty time, but I’m interested in hearing about what happened.

  3. Good grief. Poor little duder (who, by the way, looks SO much older!). Hope you get rested up and writing and little A feels better.

  4. Poor dude!! So sorry for him. One of my nephews has recurring bouts with that crap for some as yet unexplained reason. No little dudes should have to deal with that! Hugs and wishes for a quick recovery.

  5. Oh, noze. That looks terribly painful. Give him a big hug from me and I hope for a quick recovery. That just sucks.

  6. Hope he is feeling better & the swelling has gone down. Sorry the blogher thing didn’t work out – can’t wait to get the unedited scoop.

  7. Mate.

I heard you got the Funniest Blog Award though … congratulations! I’ve been reading different tweets and blogs from BlogHer … it sounds busy and hectic, probably overwhelming. (I’m still booking my ticket to go next year, in NYC).

That pic of Alex!! He is still adorable, though I hope he gets better soon. XO

  8. OH NO! Poor Alex. I hope he is feeling better.

And what?? Blogher wasn’t the most awesome, greatest place you have ever been? They were lying to us all! I can’t wait for all the gossip 😉

  9. I am so sorry about your little guy, that looks AWFUL! I hope he is getting better by the minute.

Like everyone else I am pumped to hear about your blogher experience. I know everyone goes in with the expectation that it will all be a big ol orgy of blog lovin’ but I want the real scoop. LOL… I did see your tweets about leaving and I wanted to ask then, but tried to hold off. LOL

  10. Holy cow! I had never heard of this until this past week when my 7 year old woke up with pink eye on Monday morning…Monday he was ok, we started eye drops..well he woke up Tuesday morning with his eye swollen shut and his face was red and swollen all around his eye and down into his cheek…diagnosis: periorbital cellulitis. They started him on an antibiotic and he’s much better now. Hope that your boy will be just fine!

  11. Poor baby! So sorry :-(( Glad you are back, safe and sound. Can’t wait to hear about how it went.

  12. Your poor little man! My son got a stye in his eye which developed into a secondary cellulitis infection. THANK GOD for antibiotics! Good luck. We are hoping ours does not reoccur when we finish our course!

  13. aw, poor little guy! I hope he gets better with no return this time!

Well, I just read on Cake Wrecks that you tied for Funniest Blog in the BlogLuxe Awards — Congratulations! Maybe you’ll be able to rejoice more once Alex is healing.

  14. Poor sweet guy. I have no idea what cellulitis is but I wish I could do it for him.

Congrats on your win which I just found out about! Throw your own party and celebrate everything!

  15. Hell’s bells, Becks! Every time your son looks awful or your daughter looks beautiful I just feel like breastfeeding them. How stalker-y is that?!? I am just all full of maternal instincts I guess. The fun never stops at your house, does it? Best to you and yours tonight.

  16. I had no idea that cellulitis caused shiny reading lamps to grow out of the back of one’s head! That sucks for Alex, but just think of the opportunities!

    Get better soon, Alex!

  17. Oh poor guy! That looks miserable 🙁

Am anxious to hear about your trip, regardless. Hope you’ll fill us in!

Oh, and p.s. – so glad you’re back!

  18. That poor baby. Cellulitis is so painful, and on his eye?!

Sorry you had a craptacular time at BlogHer. You could’ve come and watched fireworks with us last night. 😀

  19. Oh my gosh, that sucks. I hope he is better and the meds worked.

It was so nice to kick it with you, I think you and Dave rock.

And congrats on the award thingy!

  20. Oh, that looks awful. And your trip wasn’t all you had hoped either? I hope you at least got some serious napping time in. And that darling Alex is feeling better now.

  21. Well at least he appears to have a great idea! Or at least be on the verge of one.

Kidding aside, I hope he’s better soon.

  22. What are the odds of that?! Also? He must keep it somewhere just to pull it out to make you feel guilty. So sorry. I hope it’s not as bad as it looks.
