Holy cow! I had never heard of this until this past week when my 7 year old woke up with pink eye on Monday morning…Monday he was ok, we started eye drops..well he woke up Tuesday morning with his eye swollen shut and his face was red and swollen all around his eye and down into his cheek…diagnosis: periorbital cellulitis. They started him on an antibiotic and he’s much better now. Hope that your boy will be just fine!

Your poor little man! My son got a stye in his eye which developed into a secondary cellulitis infection. THANK GOD for antibiotics! Good luck. We are hoping ours does not reoccur when we finish our course!
